JUMPING FOR JOY!

Seriously, what wedding would be complete WITHOUT the big wedding jump photo?!?!  It’s become a sweet staple, for obvious reasons.  It’s sooooo fun. Years from now maybe the idea of it  will have run its course.  Maybe in 2050 people will be hovering with jet propelled shoes or being shot out of cannons.  Who knows?  For now, the good old fashioned jump still works for me.  I’ve scoured the net to find my faves.  Here are folks who really took their time to master it, and the tips behind their sweeeeet pics:

Plan your jumps ahead, folks.  Let’s keep this tradition alive for as long as we can!!

GROOMSMEN GIFT IDEAS

As important as it is to plan the perfect wedding day, it’s also important to remember to not forget about those people you strategically chose to stand by your side as you take your vows – your beautiful and patient bridal party!   The bride usually brainstorms what to get her girls months in advance, but the groom?  Sometimes he needs a little help.  Here are a few suggestions to ensure your groomsmen don’t get shafted.

Of course, you can always go the easy route and get the staples.  If you do decide to do this, no worries!  These gifts are common because they’re pleasers:  Watch, Sunglasses, Shoes, Wallet, Alcohol paraphernalia, Shoes, Poker set, Martini set, Cufflinks, etc.

Here are some of my personal faves that I’m sure the bros will love:

If you can’t afford Beats by Dre headphones, how about Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Tour Earphones for half the price at $150?

Every dude has thought he was a ninja maybe one or a million times in his life, why not get him halfway there with a Ninja Sword Umbrella he can sport in public without getting arrested for $24?

Bobbleheads are always funny.  If you have $150 to splurge (per groomsman), why not?

What guy wouldn’t want a personalized ‘stache toiletry bag?  You can get this one for $40, and they’re even cheaper without the stache.  (I actually asked my brother for advice for a good groomsmen gift when I was getting married.  He said that he can’t remember what the BEST one was, but the most USEFUL was a toiletry bag.)

How about a DIY Capcatcher?  This is freaking genius, and for what appears to be less than $10 each!  Just requires some creativity.

Haven’t you always wanted a super sharp pocketknife that can fit in your wallet?  Well now your groommen can have a CardSharp for only $15.

What’s getting a lot of hype out there (for its sheer genius) are $15 Man Candles!  (I it just me or would "Mandles" have been a sweet name?)  I actually recall seeing this on HGTV one day.  It was an idea spawned from a 15-year-old boy who was tired of perfumed candles.

These are just a few really great suggestions found online.  Of course, as I said, if you DO decide to go the common route, why not try some of these 2.0 versions:

Cool and unique gifts can be found on sites like www.etsy.com and www.uncommongoods.com, and I honestly believe some of the coolest things I’ve seen (because I’m a fan of frivolous spending) is on www.skymall.com!  Believe you me, any man would die to get his hands on an INSTA SLIM TANK!

MUAHAHAHA..
